Building New Friendships

Description: Social skills training group based on ABA principles, with a focus on school readiness skills. Skill that will be of focus are: following directions, transitions between locations and activities, turn-taking with peers, circle time, requesting to peers, initiating and responding to peer interactions.

Where: Canoe Therapy Burlington

Appropriate for: 3-6 yr olds with limited or no functional communication looking for social skills, and school readiness skills training. Appropriate for a children with a range of diagnoses, including Autism (ASD).

Extended Healthcare Coverage: May be eligible for Special Service at Home funding. Developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavioural Analyst and implemented by an Instructor Therapist
