Description: A Social Learning Opportunity that will involve various games, including board games and group games, arts and crafts, music and independent play stations. Participants of the camp will learn and play games they may encounter at school or on the playground to help them to interact socially with peers. The camp will also focus on learning and encouraging initiation and maintenance of conversations with peers to increase social interactions in their everyday lives. Goals for Camp Canoe will be to increase reciprocal social interactions, create peer connections, and to encourage the development of social communication skills and knowledge.

Appropriate for: 4-7 years old looking for social learning opportunities. Appropriate for a children with a range of diagnoses, including Autism (ASD).
When: 4 hours daily
9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Extended Healthcare Coverage: May be eligible for Special Service at Home funding. Developed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavioural Analyst and implemented by an Instructor Therapist.
