Jessica completed a Bachelors of Arts and Science in Developmental Psychology and Biological Sciences at the University of Guelph. Then she obtained her graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Western Ontario. She is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologist of Ontario, as well as Speech-Language and Audiology Canada. Jessica is passionate about helping children of all ages and she understands the value of having a holistic child-centred approach.
Jessica lived in Vancouver, BC for 4 years where she worked at a private school for children with special needs. She has also previously worked for the Toronto District School Board. Jessica has provided numerous speech and language assessments and intervention to children with various disabilities, including but not limited to autism, learning and reading disability, developmental delay, and hearing impairment. When Jessica isn’t help children at the Canoe Therapy Centre, she is working for CCAC where she helps children with speech disorders at their school.
Outside of work, Jessica likes to be outdoors and she stays active by doing various activities such as running, cycling and hot yoga. She also enjoys travelling the world, cooking and cuddling up with a good book.
