Tassiana Smith graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Social Psychology. In conjunction, she went on to complete a post-graduate McMaster/Mohawk certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis, which focused on Behavioural Science.
Tassiana's passion for the psychosocial and emotional wellbeing of children and families is reflected through her participation in hospital-based volunteer initiatives. During her studies and before joining the Behaviour Therapy team at Canoe Therapy, she volunteered in the Child Life Department at McMaster Children's Hospital for three years.
Her passion for Behaviour Therapy has evoked a desire to continue exploring the field of Psychology. In the near future, she hopes to pursue a Master's degree in Pediatric Psychotherapy.
Outside of work, she enjoys wandering through the aisles of Sephora and spending an ample amount of quality time with her puppy (Tierra).
